After many delays the Asbury Festhalle & Biergarten will finally be opening in February of this year according to reports. Located at 527 Lake Avenue in Asbury Park The Jersey Shores only authentic Austro-Hungarian Beer Garden will feature 25 different beers on tap, live entertainment and foods such as wursts and schnitzel. Large tables in the fashion of the beer gardens of Germany will invite people to meet and celebrate life while raising a stein and singing along with the music.
Festhalle means Feast Hall translated from German. This is the first Jersey Shore Beer Garden style place to operate since the Hofbrauhaus in Atlantic Highlands shut its doors for good in 2007. I cannot wait to raise my Hacker-Pschorr and sing Ein Prosit!
